Meet San2.

San2, known off stage as Santu Singh, is a Nottingham-born British Asian singer and performer. Music has been part of his life from the beginning.

Raised in a family of singers and musicians, he grew up with a tradition of shabad and kirtan passed down through generations. His father began teaching him at an early age, nurturing a natural voice with classical training.

Before singing took centre stage, San2 studied tabla with Ustad Gurmeet Singh Virdi Ji. That grounding in rhythm sits alongside his work on keyboards, guitar, dholki and drums.

From the qawwali-inspired “Nayo Lagda” to live performances, his music brings that heritage into the present.
